SCM ends

We decided to stop playing with our band Sand Creek Massacre.Its a really simple reason, all of us dont have the motivation,time or inspiration anymore to keep this band going. I guess its a really logical thing that can happened after playing actively in a band for 5 years, priorities change and its just hard to keep things going and be excited about it at the same time. We toured all over Europe(180 shows) and we met amazing people and got the chance to see the most inspiring places around Europe, along the way we also created some really intense friendships that became really important. Theres a shitload of people that we wanna thank and we probably forgot alot, anyways. Thank you to all the people that ever decided to reply on one of our emails or decided to get in touch with us for a show. We all felt like a bunch of privileged fucks to eat the food that you made, to play the venue were you put up shows or were everyone is actively involved in and to meet you all..Thank you Melete,Alpinist,M40,Boredom,Finisterre to share weeks or weekends with us and for still being our friends, Thanks to all the Labels that put alot of effort in helping with releases and so on.Thanks to all the people that ever helped us out in anyway, honestly it always ment and still means the world to us!
We play our last show on Februari 26th In Nijmegen in De Onderbroek with our friend Boredom,Finisterre, Geranium and Siphilisation.

...Summer is over.
We had an amazing summer, did some nice shows and spended some more time with eachother and some of us decided to go to School and others decided to not go to School.
Our highlight was probably The Scandinavia tour with our dearest and lovely friends of Boredom, we had an amazing time and saw beautifull stuff and met the nicest and most awesome people ever. To share all this with 6 Friends from Austria is just amazing. So thank you so much Wolfi, Michi,Mikey,Chris, Lukas and Marian ui dont think a blogspot update can describe how much this ment to us!
Also Thank you Finisterre,Jano and HH buddys,Magnus,Kiwi&Ungdomshuset, Josefyn, Andrea, Adde&Grundbulten, Leo&Eskilstuna HC, Seve,Jere,Ane Vegane,Hanna and all our Heslinki Buddies,Sakk, Asa and everyone in Gothenburg, Danny and the G18crew, Viktor and Anton..All the bands that we met, All the people that took the effort to come out, all the cooks,epic nature, mooses, reindeers, eriks mom and dad!

We had alot of talks while driving this tour and we are gonna work our asses off to make a nice record, we wont rush we did that too much over the last couple of years(we played our 180 show this tour) we will do some shows but wont book any tours i guess..except for a nice weekend in januari in Germany with our buddys from Finisterre!So keep an eye on this web-thingie, help Boredom out cause they need some shows in October ,Dave and Erik will tour with Sloth (www.sloth.noblogs.org) in November, Start a band or a fire.

Tour starts tomorrow!

Hey!
We are really really stoked that we are going on tour tommorow.
its gonna be amazing to see all of you again and finally meet all those people who helped us out and hooked us up with a show.We start In Bremen tomorrow and meet up with our buddies from Boredom, from there on we travel north trough Denmark, Norway,Sweden and Finland.

To all the people who are doing shows for us i would like to say dont use email from tommorow on but use the phonenumbers i sended you...and remember texting is cheaper!

New Merch!

So me and our friend Lukas from Cologne spend the whole day printing our new merch and i must say the result is pretty cool.

Our friend Bart from Nijmegen did the design and we are super happy with it!

We printed yellow, white and dark grey shirts, plus screen printed posters, bags and patches..all the shirts are on organic and fair trade materials.
